Four fire crews tackle shed fire at Lymm

FOUR fire crews were called out to tackle a shed fire at Broomedge, Lymm, that had spread to a fence.

Shortly before 7 pm two crews from Greater Manchester, one from Lymm and one from Runcorn were called out to reports of a fire involving a garden shed and a fence at a property on The Drive, Broomedge.

A fire in a garden had spread to a fence and shed and was extinguished by firefighters using a hose reel. Extra fire engines were required at this incident for water.

Earlier in the day at around 5:30 pm one crew from Birchwood was called out to deal with a number of small fires on Green Lane, Warrington. A number of small fires lit in brambles were extinguished with a hose reel.
