Firefighters tackle fire involving electric shower

FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus tackled a fire at a house in Bewsey, Warrington, involving an electric shower.

At 18:21 yesterday, Saturday crews from Warrington and Penketh attended at the property on Southworth Avenue, Bewsey.

Crews were called to reports of a house fire involving an electric shower. Firefighters used two sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, and a large fan to extinguish the fire.

In another incident last night at 20:42 one crew from Warrington was called out to reports of a small fire in the open on Sankey Valley Park, Warrington

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the small fire near to the entrance and bridge at car park in Sankey Valley Park.
