Man found dead in pick-up truck at Latchford

UPDATED: TWO roads were closed in Latchford, Warrington after the body of a 29-year-old local man was sadly found in a pick-up truck on Whitley Avenue on Tuesday morning.

Road closures were put in place on Whitley Avenue and Banks Crescent shortly before 8:30 am this morning after police were called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man in a vehicle.

Emergency services attended at the scene where a man was sadly found dead.

Both roads remained closed until late this afternoon while officers completed their investigations.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: ““At around 8.25am on Tuesday, April 11, police were called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man in a vehicle on Whitley Avenue, Latchford.
“Police and paramedics attended the scene, and sadly a 29-year-old local man was found dead inside a black pick-up truck.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a case file will be prepared for the coroner.”
