A four-day road closure has been confirmed at Birchwood later this month while a new electricity main is installed.

The closure is set to come into force on Goldfinch Lane on April 25th.

Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Goldfinch Lane from its junction with Dunnock Grove to its junction with Linnet Grove.
The Order will be effective from 25th April 2023 for 4 days, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Dunnock Grove, Admirals Road, Linnet Grove and vice versa.
The closure is required to allow Electricity North West to carry out a new mains connection.
