Fire crew tackle large grass fire on Paddington Meadows

FIREFIGHTERS were called out yesterday evening to tackle a large grass fire on Paddington Meadows in Warrington.

At 18:42 on Sunday evening one crew from Warrington was called to reports of a fire off Larkfield Avenue.

Firefighters used a water backpack and a hose reel jet to extinguish a fire involving a large pile of dried grass.
