Car seized and banned driver arrested after police stop car on cloned plates

THE driver of a car with cloned plates stopped on the motorway network near Warrington was found to be disqualified until 2025.

His cloned Peugeot 308 was picked up on the M56 onto the M6 by Cheshire Police who were joined by Greater Manchester patrols as it approached Manchester and pre-emptive tactics were deployed to prevent a pursuit.

Driver, who was found to be disqualified until 2025 and was arrested and had his vehicle seized.
