THE M6 Southbound between Junction 22 Winwick Link Road and Junction 21A Croft Interchange at Warrington was closed this morning as emergency services including the air ambulance attended a serious incident.
North West Motorway Police confirmed one casualty has been taken to hospital for treatment, while National Highways have confirmed the motorway re-opened at 09.35 am.
