Fire crews tackle forklift truck fire at Omega

TWO fire crews were called out to a fire involving a forklift truck at commercial premises at Omega, Warrington.

Shortly before 4pm crews from Penketh and Warrington were called out to the premises on Skyline Drive.

The crews wore breathing apparatus and used water from a hose reel on the fire.
The crews used a thermal imaging camera to check the vehicle for signs of heat before leaving. There were no reports of any injuries.
