Motorway crash near Warrington causes lengthy hold-ups

A CRASH on the M62 near Warrington this morning caused lengthy hold-ups.
At one stage, 50 minute delays were being reported following the incident, due to lane closures near the Croft Interchange.
Lanes three and four were closed and traffic built-up past Junction 8, Warrington/WestBurtonwood and on to the M6, Junction 23, Haydock.
Shortly after 9.15am, the traffic cleared and conditions returned to normal.
