Queens chosen for Lymm May Queen

THE new queens have been selected for the annual Lymm May Queen event which this year takes place on Saturday, May 13.

Lymm May Queen 2023 is Evie Dex and her Lady in Waiting is Ellie Wolstenholme, (pictured above) both pupils at Ravenbank Primary School.

Rose Queen 2023 is Iseabal Morrison from Cherry Tree Primary School and her Lady in Waiting is Harmony Seymor (pictured below) a pupil at Oughtrington Primary School.

May Queen field is open to the public at 11am. The parade through the village starts at 12 noon from Brookfield Surgery.

Admission will be £2 per adult, £1 for 3-14 and free for 2 and under. There will be lots of free entertainment on the day with plenty of reasonably priced rides for all ages including young children. There is a full field comprised of local artisans and a wonderful selection of food and drinks provided by more local establishments. The aim of organisers is to promote the vendors and traders within the local community to provide families with wholesome entertainment that is affordable for all to enjoy.
