Fire crews called out to tackle garden fires!

FIRE crews have been called out to tackle two garden fires in the Warrington area.

Yesterday at 16:15 one crew from Warrington was called out to reports of a garden fire on Bond close, Sankey Bridges, Warrington.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and a thermal imaging camera to check for further hotspots. They dampened down the area and made sure it was safe.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday afternoon one crew from Warrington was called to an address on Lander Close, Old Hall, where a fire in a garden was extinguished with a hose reel by firefighters.
