Aiden to “climb” Mount Everest – without leaving Stockton Heath!

A 27-year-old Warrington man is tackling the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest to raise money for Red Nose day on Friday, March 17.

Aiden Miller, from Callands, a membership advisor at Anytime Fitness, Stockton Heath, will be taking on the challenge on the Stairmaster climbing machine – equivalent to a climb of 8,850 metres or 44,250 steps.
The ordeal is expected to take around 10 hours.

The club is having an open day to mark the occasion, so members and non-members will be able to attend to cheer Aiden on, or take part in a raffle and other activities.
Two other membership advisors, Leanne Jones, 35, from Birchwood and Sophia Butler, 48, from Stockton Heath will step in to do some of the “climb” to give Aiden an occasional break.
Anytime Fitness Stockton Heath won a “community champion” award for its charity and community events last year so are hoping for another successful year.
