Police seek “Fresh Ego Kid” after moped rider puts road users and pedestrians at risk

POLICE are seeking the wearer of a “Fresh Ego Kid” baseball cap following an incident at Lymm where a moped rider put road users and pedestrians at risk after making off at speed.

The youngster was perched on the back of a moped which made off at speed in the village on Sunday afternoon.

Local police posted on social media: “If your child returns home this evening without his ‘Fresh Ego Kid’ Hat then rest assured, Lymm Police have got it!
“We would love nothing more than to reunite them with it, it was lost on Rushgreen Road this afternoon when the wearer of said hat was perched on the back of a Moped alongside another passenger!
“The Moped drove away from Officers at high speed through the village putting other road users and pedestrians at risk before heading off near the Trans Pennine Trail.”
