POLICE are planning to increase patrols at Burtonwood Nature Park following recent damage by fire and anti-social behaviour.

It follows a walk around the area by local PCSO Tony Spruce.

Tony said: “I have just been for a pleasant walk on Burtonwood Nature park and it is a lovely place BUT
unfortunately, it has been damaged recently with a fire and other anti-social behaviour.
“I will be carrying out regular patrols on this area and anyone found to be causing damage they will be dealt with.
“I am on duty tonight so if you want to ask any questions I will monitor social media throughout my shift.”
