Traffic delays after HGV overturns following collision on M6 sliproad at Woolston

HEAVY traffic was reported on roads around Warrington this morning following a road traffic collision on the M6 at Woolston involving an overturned HGV.

While the motorway has since re-opened, the northbound Junction 21 slip road remained closed for ongoing recovery.

North West Highways is advising motorists to allow extra time for their journey.
During the rush hour period, this morning traffic tailed back to junction 19 at Knutsford.

The #M6 northbound J21 exit slip road remains closed following a collision which resulted in an overturned vehicle.

Recovery remains ongoing.
