GROUPS using Winwick Leisure Centre are being put in fear due to anti-social behaviour involving youths who have again been moved on by police.

Now, police say they are going to speak to parents of those who have been identified as being involved in anti-social behaviour outside the premises.

Local PCSO Tony Spruce said: “Reports tonight of Anti-Social Behaviour around the area of Winwick Leisure centre.
A group of lads and girls have been spoken to and moved on. This has become an issue over the past couple of weeks and is affecting the club and the groups that use it are being put in fear. This will not be tolerated.

“If you have teenage children who are out in the area tonight please speak to them about behaviour and consequences.”
He added that the parents of those who had been identified would be spoken to.
