Three women arrested in connection with murder of Billy Moore

THREE local women have today, Tuesday, been arrested in connection with the murder of Warrington man Billy Moore at Bewsey.

Mr. Moore died on Thursday 22 December following an incident at an address on Yardley Avenue, Warrington.

A 41-year-old man has since been charged with murder in relation to his death. James Ireland, of Lodge Lane, Warrington, is currently remanded in custody awaiting trial.

As part of ongoing enquiries, detective have today (Tuesday 7 February) arrested three local women in relation to the incident.
The women, aged 45, 49 and 60, were all arrested this morning on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They have all been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
