Man charged after police discover large cannabis farm following raid on Penketh property

UPDATED: A 34-year-old man has now been charged after police discovered a cannabis farm with a large quantity of plants following an early morning raid at a property in Penketh, Warrington.

Lam Tan Cahn, 34, of Maple Crescent, was charged with the production of controlled class B drugs (Cannabis). He was remanded into custody to appear at Chester Magistrates’ Court today (7 February).
The charges relate to a discovery of a number of cannabis plants at a property on Maple Crescent, Penketh, following a joint PST and Beat teams warrant at the address.

Officers seized 300 cannabis plants at the property.
