THREE fire crews were called out this morning to tackle a car blaze on the M6 near the Croft interchange.
At 05:44 crews from Warrington, Birchwood and Lymm were called to reports of a car well alight on the M6 southbound between junctions 21A and 20.
A hose reel jet was used by firefighters to extinguish the flames and lanes one and two were closed while they dealt with the fire.
