PLANS to refurbish a Victorian terraced house to create a high-quality contemporary-style family home have been submitted to Warrington Borough Council.
The scheme involves a property in Twiss Green Lane, Culcheth, near to Leigh Golf Club – and the applicant hopes to create an award-winning piece of architecture.
Documents submitted to the borough council’s planning department say the scheme involves extending the house by linking it to an existing workshop building which would be extended and refurbished.
A rear extension would provide additional living space.
Overall, the development would be of a high quality, contemporary design, which would improve the character of the existing property and provide a long-term family home.
Warrington Borough Council planners are now considering the proposals.
