EMERGENCY road works at Winwick Quay and a broken-down vehicle on the M56 were causing significant delays on the road networks in Warrington this morning.
Various bus services were disrupted by emergency road works at Winwick Quay, with delays of at least 15 minutes being reported due to the road being reduced to one lane.
Meanwhile, one lane of the M56 westbound between Junction 9 and 10 of the M56 was closed due to a broken-down mobile crane, with delays of around 30 minutes being reported.
There are significant delays on the 19, 22, 22A, 49, P6 & WVR3 because of emergency roadworks at Winwick Quay. The road is down to one lane causing delays in excess of 15 minutes.

Lane 1 is CLOSED on the #M56 westbound between J9 and J10 near #Warrington due to a broken down mobile crane.
