Woman found to be more than three times drink driving limit after collision

A woman who failed to stop after colliding with another vehicle at Woolston last night was found to be more than three times the drink driving limit.

She had collided with an innocent driver but failed to stop. She was later arrested for drink driving and provided a specimen of 113 in custody – the legal limit is 35!

In another incident, a female was arrested for Vehicle Interference after it was reported that she was trying car door handles on Tesco, Winwick Road. Police are reminding people to always lock their vehicles, as she managed to enter two out of the five she tried.

On a busy evening for local officers youths were also dispersed from the Town Centre after they were causing Anti-Social behaviour towards local businesses.
