A “suspicious” male was arrested in Golden Square after stealing a large quantity of goods from a store.

Plainclothes Project Servator officers spotted the male acting suspiciously in Warrington Town Centre yesterday. After a search, he was found to be in possession of a large quantity of stolen items from a store in Golden Square resulting in his arrest.

Warrington Police say Project Servator officers could be anywhere at anytime, some of them you can see and others you can’t.
Along with the highly trained security staff their aim is to make the Town Centre a hostile place for criminals and a safer place for shoppers.
