HIGHFIELD Road at Lymm is set to close for up to two weeks later this month for gas replacement works.
Cadent gas has scheduled gas replacement works to start on January 16.
Warrington Borough Council has given notice it intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Highfield Road from its junction with Booths Hill Road to its junction with Hardy Road.
The Order will be effective from 16th January 2023 for 2 weeks, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Booths Hill Road, Elm Tree Road, Cherry Lane, Hardy Road and vice versa.
The closure is required to allow Cadent to carry out gas replacement works.
