Fire crews called after car collides with tree on M6 at Lymm

THREE fire crews were called out following reports of a car colliding with a tree at the side of the M6 at Lymm.

The incident took place 19:34 at the M6 Southbound between Junctions 20 and 19 and was attended by fire crews from Lymm, Stockton Heath and Knutsford following a report of a car being in collision with a tree at the side of the motorway.
One lane was closed to protect crews and emergency services colleagues from oncoming traffic. They provided casualty care at the scene.
There were no serious injuries.
