Police make 14 arrests including two for assault on emergency workers

DURING a busy night in Warrington town centre, police made a total of 14 arrests, including two for assaults on emergency workers.

Chief inspector Neil Drum and Inspector Keefe were out on patrol with the team last night and into the early hours of this morning in Warrington town centre where they want people to enjoy their night and drink responsibly.

Officers took action against those committing offences and a number of arrests were made.
During their shift officers from C block arrested 14 people overnight for various offences, two of which include assaulting emergency workers.
Two people were also taken into Police custody after being stopped driving by officers and found to be over the prescribed legal limit for alcohol.
