Fire crew called to two-vehicle collision on M6 at Winwick

A fire crew from Warrington was called out to a two-vehicle collision on the M6 at Winwick last night.

Shortly after 20:00 one crew from Warrington was called to a report of a collision on the M6 Southbound between Junction 22 to Junction 21a

The collision involved two vehicles on the M6. Firefighters made the vehicles safe and used a hose reel jet. All persons were accounted for.

In another incident one crew from Warrington was called to reports of a fir in the open at Collins Green, Warrington.

At 16:38 one crew attended the incident on Penkford Lane.

A small amount of wood and shrubbery was on fire. Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampened down the area.
