THREE fire crews were called out earlier today, Thursday, to tackle a kitchen fire at commercial premises on Stretton Road, Stretton.

Shortly before 11 am, two crews from Lymm and one from Birchwood were called to reports of a kitchen fire at commercial premises believed to have been started due to something being left on the top of a cooker hob.

Everyone inside the premises was evacuated. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel to tackle the fire and were in attendance for around 50 minutes.
