Unattended chip pan causes kitchen fire at Bewsey

FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night after an unattended chip pan caused a kitchen fire at Bewsey, Warrington.

At 21:06 one crew from Warrington was called to a property on Yardley Avenue, Bewsey.

A chip pan had been left unattended in a kitchen and caught fire, with the fire spreading to the kitchen units.
Firefighters ensured the kitchen was safe and fitted a smoke alarm. An ambulance was also called although there were no reports of any injuries.
