Orford Lane closed following collision involving car and pedestrian

ORFORD Lane was closed earlier this afternoon as emergency services attended a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

The collision, involving a female pedestrian and a black Ford Fiesta, occurred near a Co-op store between the junctions of Forster Street and Longford Street.
The woman’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and the road has since re-opened.

A spokesperson from Cheshire Police said: “We were called to reports of a collision on Orford Lane at around 3pm.

“The collision occurred near to the Co-op between the junctions of Forster Street and Longford Street involving a black Ford Fiesta and a pedestrian.

“The pedestrian, a woman, was treated at the scene by paramedics. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
