Police issue warning after burglary at Poplars and Hulme

POLICE have issued a warning following a reported burglary in the Poplars and Hulme area of Warrington.

The reported burglary was in the area of Whittaker Avenue and occurred between Friday 2nd December and Saturday 3rd December. Access was not gained and no items were taken however please ensure you keep everything out of sight and locked away especially now during the Christmas season.

Also, be mindful of throwing your empty packaging away from Christmas presents as this will advertise what you have in your home.
Police advise getting together with your neighbours and making a street WhatsApp or Facebook group so that you can all look out for each.
