A POLICE investigation is underway following reports of a youth reversing a bus into a wall at Warrington Bus Station.
It was one of a number of incidents involving anti-social behaviour in the town centre, particularly in and around the bus station in recent weeks, which has resulted in officers issuing dispersal orders.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “On Thursday, November 17, police were called to Warrington Bus Station at 8.07 pm following reports of anti-social behaviour.
“As officers were attending, the caller reported a youth entering a parked red and cream coloured single-decker bus.
“The youth started the engine and reversed into a wall, before fleeing the scene when officers arrived.
“A dispersal order was put in place due to a number of groups of youths in the area.”
No arrests were made, no injuries were sustained and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
