TO help tackle the cost-of-living crisis Warrington Wolves players, coaches and staff are donating 2023 junior memberships to young deserving Wire fans in the town.

With tens of thousands of households affected in the community, the Wolves say it’s important their next generation of fans continue to have access to live sport and the team they love. Furthermore, Under 12s will become part of the “Wolf Pack”, giving juniors the opportunity to socialise with other fans in their age group at a number of parties and events throughout the year.

The memberships will be given to worthy recipients via the Warrington Wolves Foundation community and schools projects who deserve special recognition.
The first team squad have led from the front on the initiative, with Stefan Ratchford highlighting the importance of reaching out to the next generation.

Ratchford said: “I remember going to my first rugby games as a kid and the way the sport hooks you in straight away.
“There’s always a great buzz around the HJ when we’ve had the “Kid for a Quid” games and it’s important we do everything we can to keep attracting more younger fans.
“When the idea to pledge memberships to juniors was first mentioned it was a no brainer for myself and all of the boys were quick to rally behind it.
“We know families are doing it tough, especially at Christmas, so if we can play our part and put some smiles on kids’ faces then that means a lot to us.”

Over 250 Wolf Pack memberships in total have been pledged by the club so far and they are now also offering the opportunity for supporters to contribute and donate a membership to a child.
Wolf Pack memberships are only £26 for the full year, giving an Under 12 access to home games for just £2 per fixture as well as access to special events.
