FIRE crews helped triage casualties following a two-vehicle collision on the M56 Lymm interchange yesterday evening.
At 17:16 crews from Lymm, Warrington and Birchwood attended reports of a collision on the M56 west between junctions 9 and 10.
Two vehicles were involved in a road traffic collision on the M56 west between junctions 9 and 10. Firefighters triaged casualties until paramedics arrived and made the vehicles safe.
The #M56 westbound is blocked within J9 #M6 due to a multi vehicle collision. Emergency services and Traffic Officers are on scene. There are approx. 3 miles of congestion on approach so please use alternative routes if possible and allow extra travel time. pic.twitter.com/zeh4GjI71i
