Festive Fayres show Christmas spirit

WHILE the proposed Culcheth Christmas Market was sadly cancelled there was still plenty of festive activities taking place in the village, including the annual Christmas Fayres at Culcheth Methodist Church and Newchurch Parish Hall, as well as the lights switch on.

Over at the Methodist Church Hall youngsters had a chance to meet Father Christmas while stalls included 7th Culcheth Brownies and St Rocco’s Hospice St Rocco’s.

Meanwhile, over at Newchurch Parish Hall festive tunes were played by Newchurch handbell ringers, while stalls included Hand Crafted by Chris and created by Gilly K Crafts.

Meanwhile, the annual art exhibition took place at Jackson Avenue where local artist Patti Rosser is pictured below.
