POLICE are investigating a car fire at Warrington which is believed to have been arson.
The blaze was shortly after 5pm yesterday (Wednesday) in Tenby Close, Callands.
A crew from Warrington Fire Station went to the scene and found the vehicle well alight.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze and, because of the suspicious nature of the outbreak, called police to the scene.
There were no reports of any casualties.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101.
