Judging set to take place on Lymm Future Vision Exhibition

JUDGING will soon take place on the Lymm Future Village Exhibition organised by local Cllr Steve Towndrow with the support of Lymm Parish Council and Lymm Heritage Centre.

Pupils from local schools have submitted some excellent work spanning a wide range of subject matter such as transforming the Sunken Garden into a play area, community garden or performing art platform to considering better signage, electric charge points, wider pavements and even water features driven by the lower dam. A wide range of art and technology mediums have been used too.

Cllr Towndrow said: “Alan Williams has been pivotal is making this exhibition possible – massive thanks to him and his hard work at Lymm Heritage Centre!”
The Council engaged with pupils welcoming their ideas on how Lymm village centre currently serves them and their needs and what they would like to see changed and improved.

The youngsters submitted their ideas as models, artwork and mixed media culminating in the exhibition which is running from November 1st until November 30th, with members of the public welcome to attend from 12pm-4pm.

Local professionals, Keven Lester, CB3 Architects, Paul Beckman, Agathoclis Beckmann Ltd, Landscape Architects and Michael Taylor, Representative of Lymm Traders Association and owner of the Wine Kitchen, The Cross will judge the entries.
Lymm Parish Council would like to thank the schools and pupils for their support and entries, Lymm Heritage Centre for hosting the exhibition and also to the judges for their time and expertise.
