THE skies over Lymm were lit up on November 5 during a spectacular fireworks display, which raised around £5,000 for local charities.

Around 800 people attended the sell-out event, which was organised by the Lymm and District Round Table and sponsored by Cube Homes, which is building new homes at Hawthorn Grange in the Cheshire Village.
Making the most of the mild weather, crowds enjoyed a full programme of entertainment from Lymm Radio Station, fairground rides and food and drink stalls at the event held in the grounds of Cherry Tree Primary School.
Mark Swettenham from Lymm and District Round Table, commented: “This year’s event was the best yet and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along on the day and to Cube Homes for their sponsorship. The money raised on the night will be put to very good use by local charities.”
Chris Heath, Managing Director of Cube Homes, commented: “It’s great to hear the event was a big success, we were glad to be able to lend our support. Lymm is such a friendly community with a great calendar of social events, and I am sure the people who buy our new homes there will receive as warm a welcome as we have since we started building there.”
David Lewis, Development Project Manager at Cube Homes said: “I was lucky enough to be able to take my kids along and they absolutely loved it, it was really well organised and the fact the sky was clear with a full moon meant we could really appreciate all the colours of the fireworks, they looked amazing.”
Cube Home’s Hawthorn Grange development is located near Cherry Tree Primary School in Lymm where a collection of four- and five-bedroom homes are available. Prices are coming soon.
