Man arrested for domestic offences found with knife

A man arrested at Chapelford on Friday for alleged domestic offences was found in possession of a knife.

Officers had attended at an address in Chapelford due to reports of a domestic where the suspect had made off before Police could arrive.

After a detailed area search a male matching the description was located. This male tried to deceive officers and gave false details, however he didn’t manage to fool officers.
He was arrested for domestic-related offences and obstructing a constable.
When he was searched he was further arrested when officers found a locking knife hidden on his person.
