WARRINGTON Wolves have unveiled their new kits for 2023 at the annual fireworks display at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

It comes hot on the heels of the club announcing the squad numbers for the new season, as well as the release of the Super League fixture list.

The number seven remains vacant on the list, fuelling further the rumours that Catalans scrum half Josh Drinkwater is set to make the move across the English Channel.

Stefan Ratchford switches to number four, a hint that he may be a preferred centre option in the absence of the injured Connor Wrench who wears 20.

New signings from the NRL, Paul Vaughan (10) and Josh McGuire (13) have starting numbers, while fellow new arrivals Sam Kasiano (14) and Gil Dudson (17) come in from Catalans.

Youngster Josh Thewlis is rewarded for his fine campaign with the number two shirt, and James Harrison moves up to number eight.

NRL import Matt Dufty takes one, with fellow recent signing Matty Nicholson handed 12.

Warrington open up the campaign as they did last year, by playing Leeds, but this time it’s at home.

The game will take place on Thursday, February 16 at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and is the first Sky Sports televised clash of the season.

The first away game is against Huddersfield on Friday, February 24.

The trip to France to face Catalans is on Easter Saturday, April 8.

The Wolves will face Hull FC at Magic Weekend, which takes place on June 4 at St James’ Park, Newcastle.
