Police issue warning following report of suspicious male posing as utility worker

POLICE at Great Sankey have issued a warning following a report of a suspicious male posing as a member of staff from a utility company.

After the reporting person checked over the phone with their supplier it was confirmed that this male was a fraud.

Local Police in Great Sankey South are urging people to challenge anyone who knocks on your door claiming to read your meters etc.
These people may look professional and may aim to confuse you. Always ask for ID and always check with your supplier before letting anyone into your home.
