Police called after abusive youths refuse to leave leisure centre

POLICE were called after a group of abusive youths refused to leave Winwick Leisure Centre.

Local police were called to the leisure centre after a complaint that a group of youths had started to get abusive to staff and customers and refused to leave the building

Local PCSO Tony Spruce said: “Although the group had gone one male, in particular, seemed to be causing the most issues on his bike and claiming his dad owns the club so he could do what he wants. He can’t and we will be back but if you know him let me know please.”

PCSO Spruce added: “As we approach mischief night and Halloween our levels of anti-social behaviour start to go up. If you have any issues please report on 101 or in emergency 999>”
