Police intercept arranged fight at Lymm

POLICE intercepted an arranged fight at Lymm as two youths were issued with a dispersal order on Friday evening.

Officers and PCSOs went out on foot and vehicle patrol after receiving information about an arranged fight.

Two youths not from the area were given dispersal orders not to return to the village for a period of 48 hours and the evening progressed without issue.

Meanwhile, a male arrested earlier in the week for being drunk and disorderly on Bridgewater Street was released and dealt with via a Community Resolution which included an apology to the arresting officer. The male must also engage with partner agencies to address his alcohol misuse as part of his conditions.
