Discarded smoking materials believed to have started bin fires at Cockhedge Centre

FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to tackle a fire involving two industrial bins at the Cockhedge Centre in Warrington.

One fire engine from Warrington was called out at 9:12 pm to a fire involving two industrial waste bins which were extinguished by firefighters using a hose reel.
The bins were well alight on the arrival of the crew who believe the fire started due to the disposal of smoking materials.
