Drug driver arrested by Special Constable

A motorist driving under the influence of Class A drugs was arrested earlier today, Sunday, by a Special Constable.

The 36-yearr old male was arrested on Fennel Street for driving under the influence of drugs after testing positive for Class A drugs.

He was arrested by one of Warrington Police’s colleagues from the Cheshire Special Constabulary.

It has been a busy weekend for the team with over 60 duties and 450 hours committed from response to training. There has also been a new intake 65 Special Constables who start their journeys.
