Police carry out patrols following reports of suspicious activity near Birchwood High School

OFFICERS have been carrying out patrols on footpaths near Birchwood High School following reports of suspicious activity in the area.

It follows reports by a mother of two who said two men had been filming her children in the area on a mobile phone, while they were walking home from Birchwood Shopping Centre.

Cheshire Police are currently investigating the incident, which is understood to have involved two white males aged between 35-45 earlier in the week.

Following the recent reports of suspicious activity in the area of Birchwood High school, over the past few days, local officers have been providing a high visibility presence around the footpaths of the school, today, Saturday.
