WARRINGTON Rylands twice came from behind to beat Liversedge 5-2 in the proverbial game of two halves at Clayborn and give caretaker manager Jody Banim consecutive wins.

Coming into the game on the back of a 9-0 mid-week FA cup defeat, Liversedge opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, Nathan Cartman finding space in the Rylands box to steer the ball home from six yards.

Rylands equalised in the 10th minute when Kane Drummond scored a fine individual goal, receiving the ball out on the left wing he cut inside, jinking his way past defenders he round the keeper to slot the ball into the net.
On loan signing from Buxton Zac Dearnley marked his Liversedge debut with a stunning strike from 25 yards in the 15th minute to restore the home side’s advantage.
Despite going in at half time trailing Rylands had finished the first half on top.

A corner found Ryan Brooke in acres of space in the Liversedge area but his effort was blocked on the line, and Drummond was denied by the feet of goalkeeper Jordan Porter when clean through with only Porter to beat.
Jak McCourt went close to scoring in the opening minutes of the second half but could not reach a Dolan cross, but the scores were level again in the 52nd minute when Callum Dolan squeezed the ball into the corner of the net.
Shortly afterwards Rylands goalkeeper Sam Tickle presented Ben Atkinson with the ball in front of goal but recovered well to block the Liversedge man’s attempt, and his follow up was blocked on the line by Josh Langley.
Dolan fired Rylands in front in the 69th minute converting from the penalty spot after the referee harshly awarded a penalty for hand ball against a defender.

The home side was forced to play out the final 18 minutes with ten men after Connor Smythe was shown a red card after receiving two yellows.
Dolan missed a second penalty six minutes later awarded after he had been brought down by Porter.
Drummond scored his second goal of the game in the 78th minute lobbing the ball over the keeper and Dolan completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute delivering an angled shot across Porter into the far corner.
