VIDEO: AS the nation came to a standstill for the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II a National Moment of Reflection took place at Warrington Cenotaph and outside Warrington Town Hall on Sunday.

The Moment of Reflection was an opportunity for people to gather and reflect on Her Majesty The Queen’s life and legacy before the State Funeral.

Mayor of Warrington Cllr Jean Flaherty lead the Moment of Reflection on behalf of the borough at Warrington town hall, at the same time veterans paid tribute at Warrington Cenotaph organised by Veterans campaigner Julie Francis.

Following a minutes silence the bagpipes sounded at the Cenotaph.
