CULCHETH High School recently held their Summer tea party, after over two years of being unable to host the event for senior citizens of Culcheth and surrounding areas.
It was described as an ‘absolute delight and fantastic to see many of them again, fun was had by all!’ Sandwiches and scones were provided by Catering Academy and the fizzy fruit juice (as well as gallons of tea) flowed like wine!
The event was hosted by the Culcheth High School Student Leadership Group and stunning, professional-level entertainment was provided by their effervescent Musical Theatre Group. There were, of course, a few games of bingo, with some fantastic prizes donated by staff and parents. Particular thanks to Miss Longden, Mrs Quicler and Mrs Shaw for their flawless organisation.
The next Culcheth High School event for senior citizens will be the Christmas party.
