Broomfields Leisure centre fitness suite set to re-open

WORK to replace the suspended ceiling in the fitness suite at Broomfields Leisure Centre at Appleton is almost complete – with the facility set to open from 6 am on Monday (Sept 12).

Once the area is handed back a deep clean of the space prior to it re-opening is taking place.

A LiveWire spokesperson said: “We sincerely apologise for the disruption that this has caused our customers and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience whilst this essential work was carried out.”

Broomfields is currently awaiting to hear if it has been successful for a £9m Levelling Up bid to re-build and refurbish the outdated building.
